Abstract The Swiss-type lathe is a specialized turning machine of Swiss-origin with wide range applications across the precision machining industry. Its unique features enable it to mass produce parts at high speeds and precision. However, complex non-symmetric structure tool makes particularly susceptible adverse effects thermal influences. These internal external influences cause an offset center point degrade accuracy produced part.
